IMPORTANT NOTE TO PILOTS: Prior Permission Required

Quinte - Flight 53 (Prince Edward Flying Club)

Picton Airport is a Prior Permission Required (PPR) airport, and operates as a private aerodrome. The airport is sometimes used for other activities so please check NOTAMs for details. The aerodrome is available for users of the Prince Edward Flying Club and pilots operating private aircraft, provided they receive PPR to land.  Base 31 does not operate any aircraft maintenance nor have any refueling facilities. Periodically the private aerodrome is closed to flight activities for events occurring on or near the runways.

Pilots seeking to land at the Base 31 aerodrome must seek prior permission to land by emailing: aerodrome@base31.ca. Landing and tie-down fees may be applied. PPR will be granted between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Permission to land on weekends must be arranged in advance. NOTE: PPR is not required for Fly-in events.

We will mark a very special 70th anniversary in 2023. Interested in joining our Club and helping plan our platinum anniversary celebrations? Visit our Contact Page to complete and mail your Membership Application.
