Welcome to 2018 & another year of flying fun

Hello everyone

We are still down in Trumpland for a few more weeks, and are enjoying what’s left of winter. Not trying to rub it in but the heat has been very intense since the end of January. I’m not complaining, but flying my little “greenhouse” has been a very warm experience.

It will be great to get back to the County to start preparing for some flying fun this summer, which I’m sure, will be equally as busy/enjoyable as last year.  Hopefully we’ll have opportunities to welcome some fellow aviators to our very special piece of history.

There seems to be increasing interest in our airport as time goes by. By the way, no information, that I am aware of, on the sale of the property.

Our first breakfast of the season will be April 8th and with Sun & Fun scheduled for the following week, some of our regulars may be missing in action.

Our AGM follows in early May (watch for details in the coming weeks). This meeting will include election of Club officers so please consider putting your name forward. Volunteer involvement is critical to a smooth-running flying club. New ideas are always welcome.
